In this world, a person can lose a lot of things and give up hope. But maintaining a competitive spirit has it’s advantages. Especially, in hard times times, be it unemployment, family death ect. “Adapt the attitude of an athlete”, being diverse in all situations. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!

Character:

I often think about the differences among those who’ve made significant progress and those who were stagnant. One element that comes to mind, is people forget what they are aiming for, losing track of the main objective. Becoming distracted is a major impingement on life goals. Other key details are also at play here. Like the environment and our Social groups.

Secondly, a competitive person is resilient. never giving up or throwing in the towel. They see light at the end of tunnel. The glory in the “end” and “hardship” at the beginning. We are all in a race, from one point to the next.

As obstacles slide in their path, athletes maneuver in another direction, navigating the terrain. Thus, becoming better apt to handle similar situations in the future. Try as we might, there are no short cuts!

Getting the best from the worst:

Even myself, a year ago, this Blog contained fifty articles. That was automatically deleted due to software updates!  All were written from a personal perspective. Stories had meaning with good foundation and always ended at a point where, people “got the message”. And recently, I checked my google AdSense account and learned, I made $3.86 for the past few weeks on another website www.tinyboatrentals.com. I know, the money isn’t large but it proves little tweaks makes an impact. Besides, on many occasions, I was making site updates when I couldn’t fall back to sleep, just made better use of available time. Eventually, this type income will grow larger.

Seizing the moment:

Today’s post wasn’t even scheduled! I was supposed to be working on a college course which is related to my job duties. However, I could not log into my account from home, so I am refocusing energy into alternative projects like continuing this post. For the most part, I remembered what was written from lost articles.

Without this opportunity, in refocusing my attention into positive outcomes, there would have been feelings of frustration, doubt, and residual negative emotion. Unproductive feeling lead to poor actions, all of which have no real purpose in our lives. Remember that!

What moments are there in your life?, where you could capitalize on them and make things much better?

Therefore as resilient, intelligent people recognize, “we are all in a fight for financial security! Paying attention that means looking for new ways of overcoming challenges.
