Although, there are many pathways to earn a living, it is best to choose one, which makes the best use of time, values and talent. This perspective cannot be over stated! We are surrounded by people who compromised their beliefs for money, only to regret what they have lost in return. Not only that, they might have unused skills going to waste!
During our present moment, people have lost jobs and even careers. Employers had forced workers to take a “Jab” without considering long-term affects on theses devoted people. I guess, it only shows who is really caring for workers these days. Hell, not even the president cares. Look at sky rocketing gas prices and food. Some people are preparing for food shortages as well as employee cutbacks. Americans need more control over their future.
What other reason do we need to make a change?
As Americans, we must take the bull by it’s horns. Recognize that being an entrepreneur gives you more control over your future without mindless unethical rules. GOD has given you freedom, a sound mind and let no entity control it. They will never give it back!
Small Changes
A couple months ago (before this pandemic) a guy was making good use of thrown away pallets from local stores. These things were piling up. He reached a formal agreement to get rid of them for no-cost to the company. Just make sure that agreement is fully understood by the store manger or owner. This idea can be greatly expanded. As the contact list grows, think about different services, you can offer other companies in nearby neighborhoods with a variety of unmet needs. Necessity is the mother of invention. Too much work ? Hire workers, form a team and target these companies to assist them with whatever they need. “Do the things” no one wants to do or can’t do, You will never run out of customer contracts! “Be unstoppable”
Stores normally pay money to dispose of them. However, this gentlemen found a “hidden niche”. Like the saying goes. Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure. That’s exactly just what happened here. Now, I’m not suggesting going through your neighbors trash ben or taking things without asking. As the contact list grows, think about all the different services, you can offer companies in nearby neighborhoods with a variety of unmet needs.
Real life, example:
In my own life, experience repairing & renting jet-skis played a huge role in earing more income. Coworkers & friends began to identify me, as the person who is knowledgeable of small engines. Therefore, when Sally’s Lawn Mover and Snow Blower needed a tune-up, she already knew who to call. In the spring, I helped the same women by repairing her lawn mower. It was basically a 30 minute tune-up replacing Spark Plugs, checking Air Filter and Fuel Deliver Lines.
General consensus says, we are going to go through many hurtles before arriving at our intended destination!
Basically, this was a circumstance where I used transferrable skills to earn income in a whole new industry, The Small Engine Repair business! You might find multiple areas with certain skill sets.
