Budget Issues:
It seems everyone is on a budget. Perhaps some more than others. Entrepreneurs rest in a different category of their own. Most people are still governed by the same necessity to save cash while minimizing expenses. “What life are we to have?” Oh the sacrifice!
While attempting to draw a larger audience to my Blog, stumbled upon a lead that might improve views. If I could capture some of the traffic from a previous webpage and link it to this one, it would generate free traffic. Although the other site was only getting about 800-1500 views per month, at least some of those people might be interested in making money from side Hustles. “Who couldn’t use extra dollars?” right?
I used a program to monitor website visitors. It was a WordPress style plugin (G- Site Kit), that includes google traffic software. You can perform this search on your own and watch reviews on similar digital tools. Ultimately, use the one that is compatible with your webpage platform and produces valuable statistical results.
My purpose was really “not to see how much traffic” I was getting but to get traffic to a newbie website! This might sound odd, but listen. If could attract “New” eye balls to a site totally unfamiliar to people then, I could obviously just work at improving the flow of individuals there. In real life, it may be a little different but this was my rationale. In a world full of possibilities logic should propel us to make the most sense of things. Even when trying out a new task, I mentally ask myself, if the “outcome” is more than likely. In other words, better than by chance and is it duplicatable? if so, you have just created a viable solution!
Linking existing sites:
Sure, it has been done before. People used back links and other methods to get traffic. However, getting penalized for activity involving cheating the algorithm is not going to get anybody ahead. Think of it, as Word-of -Mouth for webpages! In the old days, stores got their reputation from consumers. Website do the same but we can help the method along by listing links in areas of the webpage where appropriate.
For instance, if it’s a source that discusses a similar topic ask the website owner, would they mind posting a link. More often, the owner might want to see a benefit for themselves or could just want to help a newbie entrepreneur.
In short, start getting views from a site which offers goods or service in demand. Then inform those people of your other project site, all while getting free feedback too. It just might be the edge your looking for!
Perhaps, Your connected to someone with a popular Facebook, twitter page or Instagram page. Now they might want to be compensated but paying for viewers doesn’t have to be a permanent thing, just while getting the viewership to grow.
